Both Ionic and React Native are technologies for creating mobile applications without requiring knowledge of the platform specific language; Swift/Obj-C for iOS and Java for Android. Ionic allows you to create a website, and then generates a mobile application out of that. React Native on the other hand is like a programming language that works both on iOS and Android.
